Frequently asked questions
Do I have to be really fit?
You do not have to be really fit. All of our workouts are programmed to be challenging to each individual. We will give you progressions and regressions where needed depending on your fitness level.
However, having a decent base level of fitness is required to join one of our retreats. We want you to be able to get the most out of your time with us. As long as you move regularly at home and are up for getting stuck into what we throw at you with workouts and adventures, then what are you waiting for!
Can I come solo?
Absolutely! Majority of our guests travel solo. It is a brilliant way to meet likeminded people and share your passion of health and fitness together.
Can you cater to dietary requirements?
Yes we can. When you are filling out your booking form there is a section where you can tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements that you have. Our chef's are incredibly talented and will make any adjustments needed for you.
What are the guests like?
We welcome anyone that is ready to try something new and get stuck in. The majority of our guests are solo travellers in there 30s. However we have people in there 20s up to there 60s as well.
Is there any relaxation time?
Of course! It is a holiday after all! We are passionate about getting you thriving! In order to do that rest is an essential component. In the afternoon the pace slows down and you have free time to do as you please. Lounge around the pool, head into town or have a nap.
What is included in the price?
Each retreat may very slightly. As a general guide here is a breakdown of what is usually included in a Thrive Retreat:

Can I come with my partner?
Absolutely! Most of our guests are solo travellers, but we have usually have one or two sets of friends or couples join us on retreats.
We have double rooms and twin room occupancy available for you to share.
Are flights and transfers included in the price?
No, flights and transfers are not included in the price. We can provide general advice on flights and transfer companies to use.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation policy: Guest cancellations
It is your responsibility to read and understand out Cancellation Policy as well as our full Terms of Service before making a booking.
Unexpected things do happen, so you must have adequate travel cancellation insurance in place before booking a retreat with us.
If you need to cancel any booking, notice must be provided in writing. All transaction fees will be deducted from your refund.
If you cancel 120 days or more before your start date you will be refunded the full amount that you paid up to that date, less any transaction fees imposed by out payment gateway and excluding the booking fee deposit.
If you cancel between 90 - 120 days before the start date of your retreat you will be refunded 50% of any sums paid, less any transaction fees imposed by out payment gateway and excluding the booking fee deposit.
Cancellations 90 days or less before the start date of your retreat are non refundable and will result in a forfeit of any and all sums paid.
Due to the need to commit to accommodation and other arrangements in advance, expectation to our policy cannot be made for any reason.
Cancellations policy: Trip cancellations made by JE THRIVE
If JE THRIVE has to cancel or change the start date of any retreat, for any reason whatsoever, you are entitled to transfer the sums paid to another JE THRIVE Retreat or you can request a refund of payments made by You to Us.
I am injured. Can I still come?
On every retreat we have some guests with niggles or injuries, so we are used to accommodating for this. Depending on your injury we will be able to provide modifications so that you can get the most out of your retreat. It is important to listen to your body, you know yourself best. If you need to sit something out then that is totally ok!

What room types are available?
Most of our Villa's have options for both private rooms and shared rooms.
If you are travelling solo, a twin share room will be the most affordable option for you. Here you will be paired up with another guest of the same gender.
We also have double bed rooms that you can occupy as a solo traveler for some more privacy or share it with your partner or friend.
How often do you add a new retreat?
We are always on the look out for new destinations! The best place to hear about any new dates or destinations on our newsletter or instagram, so make sure you are following those!
What is the schedule like?
The schedule changes depending on the retreat. We create each retreat to feature the best of that destination.

Generally, each week will have plenty of workouts (run, hiit, pilates, stretching, boxing, conditioning and more), activities (hikes, waterfalls and open water swimming), chill time in the afternoons, delicious fresh meals throughout the day.

Get in touch with us and we can confirm availability and amend your booking so your partner or friend can THRIVE too!
What about alcohol? Can I drink?
We do not offer alcohol at the villa. Most of our villas are close to a town so in your own time if you would like to go explore the town and enjoy a cocktail with the sunset then do. It is your holiday! However, we want you to get the most out of the time and fully thrive!
